Terms of Use

Who may use the app

To use the app you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to accept these terms. The app is not designed for people under 18.

Your account

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information when you sign up. You must verify your email address before you can book.
• Keep your password and the session on your device safe, and do not share your password with anyone. If you sign in with Google or Apple, you are also responsible for the security of that account.
• You are responsible for activity carried out with your account. If you think your account has been used without permission, change your password and let us know using the contact details below.
• Accounts are personal; do not create an account on behalf of someone else or with false information.

The platform’s role

• Güzellik Sahnesi is an intermediary platform that connects you with salons. Salons are independent businesses; the services are provided by the salons, not by the platform.
• A booking you make in the app is an arrangement between you and the salon. The salon is responsible for the content, quality and performance of the service.
• Services, prices, durations, staff and available times are set by the salons and may change. Salon information shown in the app is provided by the salons.
• No payments are taken in the app. You pay for the service directly to the salon, under the salon’s terms.

Bookings and cancellations

• You book by choosing one of the available times the salon offers in the app. You may receive reminders and status notifications about your appointment.
• You can cancel an appointment in the app as long as it has not started. Appointments that have started or are in the past cannot be cancelled in the app, and the number of in-app cancellations per day is limited to prevent abuse; in these cases, contact the salon directly.
• The salon may change or cancel your appointment according to its own operations.
• If you cannot attend, cancel in good time so that the slot can be offered to others.

Reviews

• You can rate and review only your completed appointments, within 180 days of the appointment and once per appointment.
• Reviews must honestly reflect your own experience. Do not post reviews that are unlawful, insulting, threatening, hateful or discriminatory, misleading or promotional, or that contain other people’s personal data.
• Your reviews may be published on the salon page with your first name and the initial of your last name. You can delete your review in the app.
• The platform may hide or remove reviews that breach these terms.

Acceptable use

• Do not create fake or misleading bookings that you do not intend to attend.
• Do not scrape the app or the servers with automated tools, send excessive requests, or try to bypass security measures or usage limits.
• Do not try to access another person’s account or impersonate anyone.
• Only upload profile photos that you have the right to use and that are not unlawful or obscene.
• Do not use the app for unlawful purposes.

Availability of the service

We make reasonable efforts to provide the app without interruptions or errors; however, the service may occasionally be interrupted because of maintenance, updates, technical faults or problems with third-party services. We may change, add or remove features of the app.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the platform is not liable for services provided by salons, for the accuracy of information provided by salons, for disputes between you and a salon, or for indirect damages arising from the app being temporarily unavailable.

This limitation does not exclude liability for intent or gross negligence, or any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Closing your account

You can request deletion of your account inside the app at any time; the steps and the data deleted are described on the Account deletion page (linked at the bottom of this page).

In the event of a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or where required by law, we may restrict your use of your account or close it.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms; the current version is published on this page with its “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the app after a change is published means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, you can stop using the app and request deletion of your account.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the TRNC (Northern Cyprus). The courts of the TRNC have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms. The app is free for users; the platform's paid contracts are only with businesses. This does not limit any mandatory protections granted to you by the law of the country where you live.
